Before the appointment
There is paperwork that you are supposed to complete before your appointment. Some people finish the paperwork and email it to their surgeon and some prefer to complete the paperwork in the office.
What to expect during the consultation?
When you visit your surgeon, you will be taken directly to the consultation room. At this point, you will have a one-on-one talk with your plastic surgeon. You will understand the style the surgeon use, have many options to choose from, and discover whether the plastic surgeon is right for you or not. It is at this point that you must ask the plastic surgeon as many questions as possible. You are also required to follow your instinct, especially on whether you are comfortable around the plastic surgeon or not. Always remember to communicate openly, and state your goals clearly and after the session, you will decide whether you would still want to push through with the procedure or not. If you are not open enough with your surgeon, the surgeon may not know much information about you and that will prevent the surgeon from helping you achieve your goals.
